Work Is Over

Work Is Over
I had the honor of closing the store, alone, for the last time on Saturday night. That sucked. I'm gonna miss this job. I've still got today and Tuesday to help them pack everything up, and then I'm back to looking for work. Gander Mountain and that little "Stop-and-rob" video store figure high on my list.

Fortunately, I got an extension on my homework to allow me to finish at the store.

More than the work, I'll miss the people. I've "lost" several friends to firing/seasonal employment expiring recently, and I'm going to "lose" my current set to the store shutting down. I really want to find a way to stay in touch. My fear is that I may appear weird by trying to remain in contact.

Yes, I know I have a problem letting go.

This next line goes out, not to anyone reading this, but to the people I've known in the course of my work. I hope we meet again. If not, see you in another life.

Gun Stuff
Got my 2 high-caps in the mail a few days ago - that was a happy day. My dad took them out to the range while I was working. Both magazines, one expensive, the other cheap, performed without fault. That's great. Now I need about 20 more.
