Back Again

As the title says, I'm back after extended hiatus. I'm trying to figure out how to blog from home so I don't have to take these long breaks.

[b]1000 Rounds[/b]

Bought a thousand rounds of rifle ammunition on Saturday. I'm a regular at the store, so the gun department manager gave me $75 dollars off, what wound up being about $.50 to $1.50 off per box, depending on what sales were applicable. So I've got a big box of the stuff sitting in my basement, and I'm trying to figure out whether or not I should hold 500 rounds in reserve, as a "don't touch except in case of emergency" stash, or not. According to this manager, the price is going to continue to climb. It's sitting at $4.00 per 20 right now, and that's without any sales. Ouch. Might have to switch over to the .223 platforms. Lower recoil, cheaper ammo, military commonality. All good things, but...I hate to quit using my rifle.

Found out yesterday or the day before that I'm not the worst performing employee at RadioShack. I had thought I was the bottom of the totem pole for a while, it turns out, I'm the third best earning employee in the store. That's good.

[b]Another date[/b]

So as I don't go forgetting what I want to remember, I'm adding another date to my aforementioned list of dates. April 8th.
