I love treadmills. I've finally found a way to run that is easier on my permanently damaged leg. Plus, the ability to run without devoting huge amounts of time to it has enabled me to get my speed and distance up. I ran 4 miles today, the last mile at 7mph. Yesterday it was 5, last mile at 7.5. I've gotten the speed all the way up to 8mph. Lovin' it.
And for some reason, cooldown isn't as horrible as it used to be. I can jump off a treadmill and be sweaty but breathing normally in like five minutes. Running on the streets, it took me nearly 45 minutes to feel normal again.
Love these thngs.
