Milwaukee Goes British

I've often said that Milwaukee is to me what LA is to Michael Mann. It's the most beautiful city I've ever seen. I can't adequately describe it without waxing moronic and poetic.

Well, some dumbbunny somewhere in the Milwaukee public school system recently decided it'd be a great idea for teachers to restrain students (K-12 mind you) with police flexcuffs. Apparently they've had a problem with students getting violent.

Now, let me follow the "logic" here. Students get violent, teacher gets out the flexcuffs, student...holds out their hands? WTH. Can anyone see that happening?

The only time you're going to be able to successfully restrain a student without getting tossed around the room like a lawn dart is K-8, MAYBE. This is a recipe for MORE violence, not less.

And where the HELL do admins and teachers think they get the authority to HANDCUFF students? What mental deficiency makes them think that's something that's just OK?
