...when Steve Kagen was the voice of conservatism and reason. He shocked me the other day by standing against his socialist ilk and voicing his opposition to the renewal of the "assault weapons" ban.
Today he appears in the local paper saying that he opposes criminal immigration, amnesty for already-arrived criminals, and that any criminal who's already crossed the border illegally should be deported.
WOW.
That is a break in the ranks of the Democrat party.
I'm starting to like this guy. He's still a bloody commie when it comes to finances, but where else are you going to find a Democrat who's, uh, liberal, on guns, and tough on the border?
