Gun Stuff

So on Saturday night I go to Gander Mtn. I'm looking to drop nearly a thousand dollars on a USP Compact.

The people in the gun department don't know how to use their computer system to find one for me. The guy says he'll take our information and call us when he has some time to work with the computer.

The next day, we decide to go back, but we decide to call first in case they dug up anything the night before. The man on the phone says they can't do any ordering (WTH?!). We go, and wind up talking to someone we've never met before. He says they CAN order stuff, and manages to find 5 USP Compact 9's, Variant 1 versions, for between $850-$950. He takes our information and says he'll call us if he finds any used versions.

An hour later, we get a call at home, he's order a new and a used. Not only do we have no obligation to buy, but he's waving the $25/gun shipping fee, because TPTB have decreed handguns may only be shipped overnight.

My USP should be here today or tomorrow.
