Film or photograph a violent act (like taking a picture of a robber, or a video of some Religion Of Peace adherants torching cars) and the French.gov will toss you in prison for 5 years and fine you $100,000. They refuse to control and punish hooliganism and crime, so, in the tradition of governments everywhere, at all times throughout history, they go about making criminals out of free men and women.

First they banned rifles. Crime went up. Then handguns. Rinse and repeat. Then most everything in between. Predictable results. Then large knives. Guess what happened? Then Swiss army knives. Duh... Then the serving of alcoholic beverages in glass bottles. Now they're on to the crap samurai swords sold at mall kiosks everywhere. And guess what? Crime is STILL going UP! There are some times where pointing and laughing is not only appropriate, it's necessary. This is one of them.

Roughly 50 percent of a middle-class British family's income disappears to taxes. I wish I could find the article about how 30-40% of the British population was on welfare. That's a great read, and a good companion piece for this article.
